On August 6, 2007 Francisco Vañó, member of the Spanish Parliament (Diputado a Cortes) from Toledo, held a meeting in Los Angeles, California with Nuria De Francisco, Secretary of Organization and Territorial Delegate in California of the People's Party of Spain in the United States. Francisco Vañó and Nuria De Francisco analyzed current political, social and economic affairs in Spain and the US. They also reviewed the organization of the People's Party of Spain in the United States and prepared proposals to get the party in the United States ready for the upcoming Spanish general election.
