  • January 24-25, 2009: The People's Party of Spain in the United States attended the First Open Forum of Members of the People's Party held in Madrid on January 24-25, 2009. The US delegation was integrated by the territorial delegate in Washington DC. [Details]
  • October 9, 2008: The territorial delegation in Washington, DC of the People's Party of Spain in the United States was invited by President George W. Bush to attend the National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations at the White House on October 9, 2008. [Details]
  • October, 2008: A delegation from the People's Party of Spain in the province of León visited Washington, DC in October, 2008. The delegation was composed of Juan Pablo García Valadés, Secretary of New Technologies and member of the Executive Committee, Lorena Casado Benavides and Silvia Gallego Marques, advisors to the President of the Provincial Government of León, Spain.   • July 9, 2008: On July 9, 2008, the Territorial Delegation in Washington, DC of the People's Party of Spain in the United States hosted a visit by Carlos Aragonés Mendiguchía, Chief Advisor to the President of the Government of Spain from 1996 to 2004 and Deputy (Representative) from Madrid in the Spanish Congress, and Lucía Figar de Lacalle, Secretary of Education of the Community (Region) of Madrid, during their visit to the United States.   • March 30, 2008:On March 30, 2008 the People's Party of Spain in the United States hosted a dinner in Washington DC for José María Aznar, former Prime Minister (President of the Government) of Spain. The event was also attended by Rafael Bardají, Director of International Policies of the FAES Foundation, the territorial delegate of the People's Party of Spain in Washington DC, and a group of young students and professionals. José María Aznar encouraged and urged the audience to continue defending and working for the liberal ideas. [Details]
