 Now, Solutions. Now, People's Party

Ana Mato, Campaign Coordinator and Deputy Secretary General of Organization and Elections of the People's Party of Spain, presented the campaign for the June 7, 2009 elections to the European Parliament.

Mato explained that the tagline “Now, Solutions. Now, People's Party” reflects the tone of "a positive campaign, a campaign focused on providing an alternative".

Ana Mato stated that “contrary to what Prime Minister Zapatero and his Socialist party say, there are solutions, as we proved in 1996, and our party has ideas that will get Spain out of the current economic crisis”.

She also mentioned that the campaign slogan includes the word “now” “to convey a much needed sense of urgency”.
