Meeting of the Massachussetts Delegation in Cambridge

The Massachusetts Delegation of the People's Party of Spain in the United States organized a meeting and dinner with party members and friends in Cambridge on Saturday, March 1, 2008. The participants discussed the 2008 general election in Spain and ideas to grow the People's Party of Spain in the United States. The dinner included a sampling of typical Spanish and American dishes.

Carlos Montero Luque, Territorial Delegate in Massachusetts of the People's Party of Spain, gave an overview of the party activities and organization in the United States, and provided details of the recent visit of Ana Pastor and Rafael Rodríguez Ponga to New York and New Jersey. All participants expressed their availability and commitment to help grow the party in New England and seek opportunities to share its moderate-conservative vision at university forums in the Boston area.

The event was attended by a group of Spanish residents in Massachusetts that included young professionals, and MIT, Harvard Business Schools and Harvard Law students.
