Visit of California Delegate to PP headquarters
Nuria de Francisco, Territorial Delegate in California and Secretary of Organization of the Popular Party of Spain in the United States (PPE-USA), payed a visit to the national party headquarters in Madrid on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. Mrs. de Francisco met with Mr. Rafael Rodríguez-Ponga, Secretary of Communications and member of the National Executive Committe, and with Ms. Ana Embid Segura, of the Executive Secretary's Office of Social and Wellbeing Affairs. The agenda included a review of the new membership process in the United States, a discussion on ideas to create and develope new contents for the PPE-USA website, and status and future plans of the California Territorial Delegation.
At party headquarters Nuria de Francisco visited the department of Membership, Information Technology, Social and Wellbeing Affairs, and Communications.
Mr. Ignacio Uriarte, recently elected National President of New Generations (the party's youth branch), also met with Nuria de Francisco. At the meeting they addressed the upcoming assembly of a managing team to kickstart New Generations in the United States, to be headed by Mr. Eduardo Baeza, member of the Executive Committee of the Popular Party of Spain in the United States.
