PPE-USA Secretary General on "Oppenheimer Presenta"

Juan José Núñez, Secretary General and Territorial Delegate in Florida of the People's Party of Spain in the United States, appeared on August 17, 2007 on the Spanish-language program "Oppenheimer Presenta" on Mega TV (channel 22), Miami. The program analyzed Spain's policies towards Latin America.

"The People's Party of Spain wants for Latin America the same things it wants for Spain: freedom, democracy, the rule of law", explained Núñez.

The leader of the People's Party of Spain in the US stated that "Spain is greatly in debt to Latin America. We are united by many ties, such as culture, tradition, language. Spain must invest decisively in Latin America. The policies of the current socialist administration of prime minister Rodríguez Zapatero do not go in that direction."

Francisco Vañó's Visit to Los Angeles

On August 6, 2007 Francisco Vañó, member of the Spanish Parliament (Diputado a Cortes) from Toledo, held a meeting in Los Angeles, California with Nuria De Francisco, Secretary of Organization and Territorial Delegate in California of the People's Party of Spain in the United States.

Francisco Vañó and Nuria De Francisco analyzed current political, social and economic affairs in Spain and the US. They also reviewed the organization of the People's Party of Spain in the United States and prepared proposals to get the party in the United States ready for the upcoming Spanish general election.
